Who is Shelby Clendaniel? A life-long student of the arts, musician, mentor, and father.
Born and raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, I spent my childhood growing up in West Denton located on the banks of the upper Choptank River.
After spending a few early years in the Navy, I studied and graduated from Salisbury State Teachers College.
After spending 32 years as an educator focusing on music education, I have dedicated my retirement years to indulging my interest in sketching. My work includes landscapes, architecture, and lost historic scenes.
I currently spend my time with the people and places in the mountains of Union County, Georgia, and at my home on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
I am currently a member of the Wednesday Morning Artists (Cambridge, MD) and Dorchester Center for the Arts (Dorchester County, MD).
